EISA is a participating agency of the Edmonton COVID19 Rapid Response Collaborative (ECRRC), which consists of 13 agencies that have been responding to the social and economic crises triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
How does ECRRC support Edmontonians?
ECRRC will provide timely, dignified and culturally safe supports and information for Edmontonians who have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive. Those who access the ECRRC support will receive relevant information and be connected to needed services and supports including food, assistance with applications for income support, health and wellness, and cultural connections.
Who does ECRRC support?
On top of the communities served by these 13 organizations, including Indigenous Peoples, immigrants, those living with disability and other vulnerable communities in Edmonton, ECRRC welcomes all Edmontonians in need of support to heal in dignified and caring ways to contact its toll-free multilingual emergency response centre.
How and when can Edmontonians access the ECRRC support?
Starting March 1, 2021, Edmontonians can access the ECRRC support, provided in 31 languages, from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ECRRC Toll-Free Emergency Hotline is 1-833-738-7727.
